Description

DB Fernverkehr AG is procuring a new ICE series. Based on the change in the production programme due to the procurement of the ICE L fleet and the resulting new demands on the infrastructure, the allocation of the maintenance requirements to the vehicle halls or their maintenance tracks was revised, taking into account their infrastructural equipment at the Rummelsburg site.
The result is the need for the new construction of the existing central hall.
The growing need for changing rooms and sanitary facilities, training, consulting and recreation rooms, small storage facilities and workshop rooms will be met by adding a storey to the new middle hall.
